New Hope Bird Alliance (NHBA) is a chapter of the National Audubon Society. We hold monthly educational meetings September through May, which are open to the public.
Our twice weekly bird walks are open to the public as well. We are a volunteer-run organization so if you enjoy our programs, please consider joining as a local member of New Hope Bird Alliance.
Local membership dues directly fund local conservation, education, and outreach in our community.
To join or renew local membership by check, please mail your check to PO Box 2693, Chapel Hill, NC, 27515. If the names or address are not correct on your check, please include a note with the correct names and address.
National Audubon Members located within our service area (roughly Chatham, Durham, and Orange counties) are also considered members of NHBA. If you join National Audubon, a portion of your first year of dues will be sent to NHBA. National Audubon memberships support efforts at the national and state levels, while NHBA memberships directly benefit our local programs.
Please also fill out our online volunteer form indicating your interests, if you have not done so already.
Local membership dues are $15 for Jay (student), $30 for Warbler (individual), and $50 for Bluebird (family).
